Island Creek Oyster Bar Burlington Hosts CHENINigans

Island Creek Oyster Bar in Burlington is at it again and this time they're up to CHENINigans! 

On Sunday, June 30th, join the team as they spotlight one of the most versatile yet overlooked white wine varietals: Chenin Blanc. Chenin runs the spectrum from sweet to bone dry, extremely fruit forward to incredibly savory. Led by wine director Laura Staley, the team of onsite experts is back to take you on a tour of the regions where Chenin reigns supreme. They'll have plenty of examples to help you taste your way to your favorite iteration. Chef Matt Celeste will serve up savory snacks that pair perfectly with with Chenin. 

Save the date on August 4th for the second annual Riesling Riot featuring Paul Grieco, owner of NYC’s Terroir Wine Bar and supreme champion of Riesling, who will be pouring his way through over a dozen kinds of the world’s most versatile beverage. 

Tickets for CHENINigans are $60 in advance or $75 at the door. Tickets for both CHENINigans and Riesling Riot are $110.
