Julia Grimaldi, certified food coach and personal chef, helps people discover that “how” we eat is as important as “what’ we eat. Mindful eating can help train our brain to make healthy food choices, limit mindless eating, manage/lose weight and be at peace with our body.
In this workshop, Juila will provide practical, easy mindful eating tools, based on proven science, to help people practice mindful eating in their daily lives.
We’ll begin by centering ourselves with a brief mind, body, and breath meditation, before Julia leads an “at a glance” discussion on:
1) What is mindfulness? John Kabat-Zinn
2) What is mindful eating? Dr. Christopher Willard
3) Mindful Eating Exercise: We’ll use a raisin!
4) The 6 Ss of Mindful Eating
