Tuscan Kitchen Burlington Set to Become Sorella

If you’ve traveled down Mall Road recently you may have noticed some renovations happening to the outside of the former Tuscan Kitchen site. Representatives from Tuscan Brands were recently before the Select Board requesting an alteration of premises and a change in ‘Doing Business As’ from Tuscan Kitchen to Sorella. 

There will be changes to the interior of the restaurant under an insignificant change permit, so there is no reason to go before the Planning Board for site approval. The exterior facade will see a full renovation. 

Sorella will also have a different dining concept going from hearty Italian to a lighter Italian concept with a modern approach.

Board members inquired about Tuscan Brands contributions to the community, especially around Veterans Day. The board was assured none of that will change with the new restaurant concept. With the Burlington location currently under renovation, Tuscan Brands is inviting their Veterans Day guests to their Salem, NH or Boston locations and Tuscan has worked with their developer in Boston to donate parking. In the future the Burlington location will continue having their Veterans Day offerings.

Sorella is aiming for an early January 2026 opening.
